The Facilities Project Manager works with department leaders to plan and execute projects associated with the installation and modification of facilities, equipment, infrastructure and systems in all CFS facilities. Once a project has been defined, they will work with internal resources and external contractors to develop and execute the construction and installation required to complete those projects. Although primarily working within our Devens campus, this role will be called upon to assist with projects across all CFS locations.

This team member will:
Collaborate with internal stakeholders, engineers and the design and construction teams to develop project scope and deliverablesManages all phases of project development for large and/or complex construction and facility improvement projects and equipment installationsParticipates in the selection of vendors and contractors. Participates in defining the terms of contract agreements and ensures work is completed satisfactorily. Monitors the performance of contracts to ensure compliance with applicable specificationsMonitors project budgets to identify potential financial overruns and variances; makes appropriate recommendations to alleviate financial implicationsBasic knowledge of building codes; ability to inspect and determine the adaptability and cost of renovation of existing structures; knowledge of related state and federal regulations and statutesWork with local Authorities Having Jurisdiction (AHJs) to identify permitting requirementsCoordinates with internal clients, third parties, IT and facility leaders, and facilitates the decision-making, approval and communication process between department liaisons and end usersThe ideal candidate will have most, if not all, of these requirements:
