Sr. Operations Manager 

What You Will Be Doing

The logistics and fulfilment manager is responsible for driving projects in the European supply chain in particular on the order to cash processes including, but not limited to, fulfilment processes, warehousing and logistics optimisation and returns processing and handling. You will succeed by analysing current processes and reports, making suggestions to improve and automate where possible to drive change and introducing process and rigour to help scale the business. You will be fundamental to supporting our ambitious growth targets and optimising our processes for growth. This position is located in Europe but you will be working closely with the teams at ChargePoint headquarters in California, Mexico and rest of Europe. This is a highly cross functional role with visibility to global teams and leadership, where you will be expected to wear many hats and own a wide scope of processes as we build the team going forward.

Required Qualifications (General)

• Serve as subject matter expert for Supply Chain improvement projects including warehousing, fulfilment and RMA
• A strong network in the European logistics industry and experience managing RFP processes for contracting new carriers and expanding capacity
• Deep knowledge of ERP systems, EDI interfaces     and applying best practice processes to meet business needs such as spare parts management, support/FSO processes and RMA/reverse logistics processes
• Experienced with identifying improvement opportunities and facilitating the change
• Self-motivated, able to work independently and under pressure, to accomplish tasks on time and with high quality results
• Able to deal with ambiguous environments by exercising independent judgment in methods, techniques and evaluating criteria to obtain the best results. Builds formal networks involving coordination among groups

Required Qualifications (Specific)

• Analysing current order to cash processes and translating into desired future state design to improve quality and support the growth of ChargePoint
• Experience with ERP systems: Oracle NetSuite and Salesforce
• Design and develop metrics and reports, dashboards and analysis to drive key business decisions
• Ability to work with our suppliers to drive to improvements on related metrics within the supplier scorecard
• Experience with trade compliance is a plus
• Experience with ISO certifications is preferred

Desired Skills

• Master’s Degree in Supply Chain Management, Engineering, or closely related technical or analytical field
• 5-10 years’ of demonstrated work experience in managing 3PLs and process optimisation
• A strong network in the European logistics industry
• Strong interpersonal skills with experience in managing projects, building teams and managing senior-level relationships
• Able to prioritise multiple demands and understand when to take necessary risks for appropriate rewards.
• A person who is never satisfied by the status quo and has an appetite for continuous learning and improvement
• Positive Attitude who likes to make the work place fun, and sees all problems as opportunities and comes up with solutions that are outside of the box
• Language: English, German is a plus
