We are currently seeking an Engineer-Cell Parameters and Performance, to join our Battery Cell Engineering group. This position requires an analytical mindset with work experience in the field of lithium-ion batteries and integration into a battery management system (BMS). This role intends to facilitate the rapid iteration of cell testing, parameter extraction, integration into the BMS, and the process of validation. A successful candidate should be a proactive collaborator, goal driven, and detail oriented. Candidates with additional skill sets are encouraged to apply and level will be adjusted accordingly.

The Role: Strong knowledge of lithium-ion cell chemistry and mechanisms. Proficient with a statistical programming language for data analysis and designing experiments. Able to make clear, detailed test-plans. Experience with battery testing equipment (Maccor, Arbin, etc.) and electrochemical lab work. Experience in writing efficient code to analyze large data sets and using a database. High level of mathematical and data analysis capabilities. Excellent communication skills and team-oriented attitude.Comfortable with initiating and taking ownership of projects.
