About the company:

Enviria is a German renewable energy company specializing in end-to-end solar energy solutions for commercial and industrial clients. Founded in 2017, the company provides photovoltaic systems, battery energy storage systems (BESS), electric vehicle charging infrastructure, smart energy management systems, green electricity contracts, and corporate power purchase agreements (CPPAs). Enviria handles the entire solar value chain — from financing and planning through installation, operation, and maintenance — allowing businesses to adopt clean energy without upfront investment or operational burden. The company operates under the brand concept of a 'solar ecosystem,' integrating multiple renewable energy technologies into a cohesive, scalable solution tailored to each client's needs. Enviria's mission centers on making the energy transition radically simple for businesses, enabling them to achieve predictable energy costs, generate additional revenue streams, and gain full control over their green energy supply. The company serves a wide range of commercial clients, from small and medium-sized enterprises to large industrial corporations, and has completed over 500 commercial projects across sectors such as logistics, manufacturing, and office buildings. Their proprietary PEAKHIVE platform connects battery storage, charging infrastructure, and intelligent energy management to maximize the value of solar installations. What sets Enviria apart is its exclusively B2B focus, its flexible contracting models (rental, purchase, rooftop leasing, and others), and its integrated approach that goes beyond solar panels to deliver a fully managed green energy infrastructure. The company positions itself as a long-term energy partner for businesses seeking resilience, sustainability, and economic efficiency in their energy supply.

Your role at ENVIRIA

As an Electrical Engineer (all genders), you ensure that our photovoltaic systems, BESS, and charging infrastructure projects are planned in line with technical standards and applicable regulations. Together with the team, you develop the key technical concepts and define the relevant interfaces. In doing so, you create the foundation for safe grid integration and the efficient, reliable execution of your projects.

Your responsibilities

  • You create single-line diagrams (SLDs) as well as protection and control concepts, and define the electrical interfaces between photovoltaic systems, BESS, and charging infrastructure.
  • You support the sales team in defining the metering concept and are responsible for assessing the technical feasibility of your projects.
  • You coordinate with the responsible grid operator regarding the grid connection.
  • You prepare plant certificates, declarations of conformity, and other technical documentation required for grid connection.
  • You define the connection works on site and clarify technical requirements with all relevant stakeholders (Project Manager, Execution Manager, electricians, etc.).
  • You conduct site visits when required.

Who we are looking for

  • You have completed formal training in electrical engineering or hold a degree in energy engineering or a related field.
  • You have several years of professional experience in the planning of photovoltaic systems.
  • You have experience with AC-side grid connection, plant certification, protection and control engineering, and cable sizing.
  • You communicate confidently and professionally in German (C1) and English (B1) for internal collaboration.
  • You are confident using relevant tools and systems for the planning, calculation, and documentation of rooftop PV systems.

Benefits

  • 30 days of annual leave, plus half-days off on Christmas Eve and New Year’s Eve, and paid special leave for personal milestones.
  • Flexible working hours and remote work options (one day per week).
  • Fully subsidized commuter pass (Deutschlandticket) and discounted on-site parking.
  • Tax-free benefits via a prepaid credit card (following your probationary period).
  • Corporate memberships with Urban Sports Club and 7/11.

Information for your application

We view diversity as an asset. We welcome applications regardless of age, gender, origin, disability, religion, or sexual identity. What matters most is how well your professional skills and personal strengths align with the role. Even if you don’t meet every requirement mentioned, we encourage you to apply.
