As the Director, People Strategy, you will be responsible for developing and implementing strategies, policies, and initiatives that align with our company’s objectives to drive the success of our workforce through Workforce Planning, People Analytics, and People Strategic Initiatives. You will collaborate closely with senior executives, HR professionals, and cross-functional teams to design and execute programs that enhance our People Team and Company’s people needs. Your strategic thinking, analytic skills, and operational expertise will be critical in ensuring the People Team’s effectiveness and efficiency in supporting our rapidly expanding organization.

The Role:

  • Collaborate with leadership to set the vision, goals, and priorities for the People department, aligning HR strategies with business objectives
  • Develop and execute the strategic vision and roadmap for the People Team aligned with business strategy
  • Collaborate with senior leaders to identify organizational needs and design initiatives to attract, develop, and retain talent 
  • Communication and Coordination
  • Act as a liaison between People leadership and stakeholders, facilitating communication and project coordination
  • Facilitate People leadership forums and regular governance
  • Assist in overseeing departmental operations, monitoring KPIs, managing budgets, and identifying process improvement opportunities
  • Lead efforts to enhance HR process efficiency, streamline workflows, and optimize service delivery
  • Drive HR technology adoption for streamlined operations and data-driven decision-making
  • Lead or support initiatives such as organizational changes, talent development, or diversity efforts
  • Oversee project and program management processes to drive employee growth and engagement
  • Stay informed about HR trends and propose innovative solutions to enhance competitive advantage 
  • Lead and manage a team of HR professionals, fostering excellence, collaboration, and innovation
  • Develop and monitor KPIs to measure HR initiative effectiveness, leveraging data for insights and recommendations
  • Analyze HR metrics to identify trends and recommend continuous improvement strategies
  • Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in HR or related field preferred
  • 8+ years of HR leadership experience, preferably in the automotive industry
  • Strong strategic thinking and business acumen
  • Experience managing HR teams and promoting continuous improvement
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills
  • Analytical mindset with proficiency in HR data analysis
  • Knowledge of labor laws, regulations, and industry trends
  • Ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment
