Role Summary:
The Sales Director will drive profitable sales growth across multiple industries, working collaboratively with client executives and senior stakeholders to establish EV Realty’s Powered Properties™ as the leading contracted multi-fleet charging hub solution.  Your efforts will be critical for sourcing and developing necessary relationships, managing the interactions within multiple client functions, and communicating client needs effectively to EV Realty’s Development, Finance and Operations teams. The ideal candidate will have a successful track record of consultative sales experience in the commercial fleet industry working with both senior executives and purchasing managers and will excel at building customer trust.

Principal Responsibilities & Key Results:

  • Work with Chief Customer Officer to develop and execute against a comprehensive sales strategy to achieve the company’s revenue and profit objectives
  • Leverage consultative selling techniques to establishment EV Realty's value proposition, solve client’s needs, move transactions forward in the sales cycle and develop lasting client partnerships
  • Identify and develop relationships with key decision makers and influencers through direct client outreach consisting of email, calls and meetings (both in person and virtual)
  • Lead EV Realty sales efforts at tradeshows, conferences and other events to generate leads and build relationships with potential customers
  • Work within the guidelines of EV Realty’s policies and practices to negotiate contracts to closure
  • Prepare customer presentation materials, requests for information (RFI) and requests for proposal (RFP)
  • Maintain a CRM system to track customer data, sales activities, and progress while building and maintain an internal database of customer fleet profiles
  • Knowledge & Skills:

  • Self-starter with an entrepreneurial work ethic and strong problem solving skills
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills with the ability to communicate effectively in all situations both internally and externally
  • Ability to leverage interpersonal skills to create working relationship at all levels of an organization
  • Experience with making data driven business cases including market assessments, financial returns and framing of customer value
  • Ability to manage simultaneous projects, set priorities and exercise independent judgment
  • Qualifications

  • Mission-driven to combat the effects of climate change by tackling the urgent problem of decarbonizing the transportation sector at scale
  • Proven consultative sales experience, with a history of meeting or exceeding target
  • 5+ years of sales experience in commercial fleet, EV infrastructure or closely adjacent industries
  • Ability to identify customer needs and effectively craft solutions to resolve complex situations
  • Ability to summarize complex issues and opportunities into succinct and actionable deliverables
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Bachelor’s degree in business, Finance, Marketing and Sales, or related field 
  • Excellent working proficiency with MS Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
