How you will contribute to revolutionizing electric aviation:

  • The Dimensional Management Engineer will be part of the product engineering support team.
  • Participate in concurrent design development activities to ensure that the Dimensional Management objectives are maintained during collaborative design reviews.
  • Provide guidance on Datum selections, Measurements, and GD&T application in accordance with ASME standards.
  • Direct the development of the GD&T schemes to meet ASME Y14.5 standards.
  • Support the multidisciplinary work between engineering, metrology department, and suppliers to achieve the most effective dimensional control scheme including the definition of Key Characteristics (“As precise as necessary, as imprecise as possible”).
  • Provide GD&T consultation and training to internal team members.
  • Provide guidance to other Mechanical engineers in the dimensional analysis requirements and processes.

  • Minimum Qualifications we are seeking (your Knowledge, Experience, and Abilities):

  • Bachelor of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering or another Engineering degree with a strong Mechanical Design focus from an accredited University
  • Minimum 10 years of experience in mechanical design, preferably in the Aerospace industry
  • Extensive knowledge of rotorcraft or aerospace structures
  •  Mastery of 3D CAD software (Catia/ENOVIA preferred) 
  •  Self-starter that is well organized, disciplined, team player, communication and leadership skills required
  •  Google G -Suite including drive, mail, calendar, docs, sheets, slides, charts, hangouts; slack, application lifecycle
