About the company:

Terawatt Infrastructure is a commercial electric vehicle (EV) charging infrastructure platform headquartered in the United States, focused on serving autonomous vehicles, rideshare fleets, and trucking fleets. The company designs, builds, and operates purpose-built charging sites tailored to the operational demands of commercial fleet operators, offering both private and shared charging solutions with features such as pull-through stalls, high-powered chargers, real-time data dashboards, and a reservation system. With over $1 billion raised, Terawatt positions itself as the operator of the nation's largest portfolio of purpose-built commercial fleet charging sites. Terawatt's mission centers on accelerating the transition to electric and autonomous transportation by removing the infrastructure burden from fleet operators, allowing them to focus on their core business rather than charging logistics. The company works collaboratively with cities, municipalities, and utilities to strategically site and power its facilities, ensuring community value and maximizing energy output and economic efficiency. Its hardware lab stress-tests all deployed equipment to guarantee charger uptime and vehicle-charger compatibility. What distinguishes Terawatt is its vertically integrated approach: the company handles land acquisition, utility coordination, equipment procurement, site construction, and ongoing operations under one platform. This end-to-end model, combined with its scale, gives Terawatt strategic pricing advantages and faster deployment timelines compared to more fragmented competitors in the EV charging space.
