Role Description
As a key member of our People team, you will design and manage initiatives to identify, proactively train and develop talent to stand up and ramp Form’s first manufacturing operation. These initiatives will span outreach with government, education, and other local entities to foster local/regional workforce development efforts. The focus of this work is to attract, train and hire candidates from the local and regional communities, and establish supplemental talent pipelines to enable success for Form’s manufacturing efforts and add value to the host community.

This opportunity is based out of Form Energy's Eighty Four, PA location (Greater Pittsburgh Area).

What You'll Do:

  • Form and maintain positive relationships with community organizations and local government.
  • Establish local and regional partnerships with offices of economic development, department of commerce and local/regional workforce development.
  • Establish relationships with high schools, technical colleges, junior colleges and universities to co-develop training for skilled workforce development.
  • Conduct onsite visits and outreach to expand workforce partnerships and collaborations with businesses, universities unions, community-based organizations, as well as governmental and non-governmental organizations and labor associations
  • Develop strategies to grow awareness and inspire participation in key workforce programs
  • Establish internal cross-training and upskilling programs for manufacturing employees.
  • Plan and support regular hiring events in partnership with talent acquisition team members.
  • What You'll Bring:

  • 5+ years of program management and/or workforce development experience
  • Strong communication skills and ability to professionally interact with external partners
  • Demonstrated ability to create and execute innovative solutions
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent related experience
