What You Will Be Doing

This is a Part time contract position. 30 Hours per week.

ChargePoint is seeking a Channel Marketing Manager to communicate value, ensure brand consistency and increase sales effectiveness within our rapidly growing B2B channel partner ecosystem.

A successful candidate will play an active role in crafting and managing highly impactful global marketing programs that also align with tactical regional needs and opportunities in a diverse and dynamic electric vehicle (EV) market.

In this role, your ideas and diligent activity have the potential to shape the future of transportation, benefit the planet, and enable the success of hundreds of ChargePoint Channel Partners in the United States.

We are looking for a customer-centric, creative, scrappy individual who is eager to learn about this space and can navigate a growing, publicly traded organization with ease. Someone who takes pride in your work and welcomes new projects and perspectives. To succeed in this role, you will be required to develop strong working relationships and interactions with Channel Sales, Partners, Operations, Business Applications, and Products, along with your marketing colleagues within ChargePoint.

Your Path to Success at ChargePoint

  • Develop lifecycle marketing always-on campaigns across email and other digital channels.
  • Gain a deep understanding of our B2B partner ecosystem and identify opportunities for growth and optimization at every stage of their lifecycle.
  • Create “quick to market” roadmaps and execute A/B testing to enhance campaign effectiveness.
  • Write creative briefs and partner with creative teams to design campaign assets that drive engagement and align with our brand guidelines.
  • Work with our Data Analytics team to find new ways to enable our Partners with activities that follow and anticipate market trends.
  • Leverage and re-purpose the extensive content library created at ChargePoint to develop material that is audience-centric and vertically relevant.
  • Work cross-functionally to develop and implement marketing tools for ChargePoint channel partners, including partner program components, toolkits, newsletters, marketing collateral, webinars, and training support materials, including the development of tradeshow/roadshow/webinar and other co-marketing opportunities with key partners via our MDF program.
  • Handle multiple projects simultaneously and effectively prioritize to achieve optimal results.
  • Passion for emerging markets, the EV space, and associated trends.

Qualifications

  • BA/BS degree.
  • 3-5 years of experience, with demonstrated experience implementing and managing marketing campaigns, processes and customer-facing tools
  • Analytical and empathetic thinker; you understand how to measure success for all stages of your audience’s lifecycle.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication and presentation skills for both technical and non-technical audiences
  • Proven ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams
  • Experience with market development funds programs
  • Thrives in fast-paced environments and can adapt quickly to shifting priorities
  • Ability to travel up to 20%

Advanced Qualifications

  • Experience with Electrical, Lighting, Solar, Automation, and energy management categories
  • Knowledge of CRM, Marketing Automation and Partner Relationship Management platforms such as SFDC, Zift, Impartner and Marketo a strong plus.
  • Proficiency with data reporting and visualization platforms like Tableau
  • Experience with “point of sale” programs for large scale distribution

ChargePoint is committed to fair and equitable compensation practices. 

The targeted US salary range for roles at this operating level is $63000 to $140,500. This range represents base salary and does not reflect equity, benefits or variable pay where applicable. Actual base salaries are based on several factors unique to each candidate, including but not limited to skill set, experience, certifications and specific work location.
