We are looking for a Cell Engineer to join our Cell Technology Laboratory. You will help us install and operate various analytical instrumentation and develop methods for analyzing electrolyzer components. You will work onsite in our Lab in Natick, MA, and report to the Director of Cell Technology.

Role and Responsibilities

  • Developing and improving metrology for the mechanical analysis of electrolyzer components including design of experiments and custom mechanical testing fixtures
  • Performing and improving a variety of laboratory experiments and operations including wet chemistry and dry processing techniques
  • Preparing and characterizing electrolyzer component samples regarding structural and mechanical analysis
  • Solving technical issues that arise within the laboratory
  • Setting up and maintaining analytical equipment
  • Recording results, organizing data, interpreting, and communicating results
  • Complying with all safety standards

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree
  • Experience working in a wet chemistry laboratory
  • Experience with mechanical properties characterization of metals
  • CAD skills (e.g., AutoCAD, Onshape)
  • Experience handling powders and hazardous materials

$85,000$86,000 USD

Actual base salary offered to the hired applicant will be determined based on their work location, level, qualifications, job-related skills, as well as relevant education or training and experience.​

Base salary is just one part of Electric Hydrogen’s total rewards package. We feel strongly that our team should not have to worry about having quality healthcare. In addition to the base salary offered, the hired applicant may receive:​
