We are looking for an experienced Logistics Manager who will ensure the safe and efficient delivery and management of inventory at Electric Hydrogen’s deployment sites. You will be the lead person overseeing the receipt and offload of equipment deliveries as part of an on-site Deployment Team. You will develop a management system to support multiple parallel customer site deployments of green hydrogen electrolysis projects.

You will work in a hybrid setting, and will serve projects located within 50-100 miles radius of Houston Metro area. At least 75% travel to customer project sites is required for this position.  You will report into the Deployment Manager.

Role and Responsibilities 

  • Oversee the safe delivery and offloading of materials and equipment, ensuring compliance with safety protocols and project specifications 
  • Support transporters and rigging contractors in conducting safe operations in the storage yard and during intra-site deliveries 
  • Manage the storage yard, including inventory control and layout optimization 
  • Take ownership of daily inventory reporting processes, providing accurate and timely updates from the general contractor to project stakeholders 
  • Effectively collaborate with deployment team, installation contractors, and customer project management. Provide guidance to subcontractor personnel on the efficient operation of the inventory management system
  • Work closely with the Site EH&S Manager to document safety observations and ensure safety processes and best practices are being adhered to
  • Maintain simple dashboards and use visual management techniques to track planned deliveries and expected materials
  • Inspect storage areas for safe working conditions  
  • Develop site specific logistics and inventory management plans 
  • Lead inventory management audits of site contractors
  • Implement and uphold quality control measures to safeguard the integrity of materials and equipment throughout the deployment process 

Qualifications 

  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering, logistics, supply chain management, construction management, or a related field  
  • 5+ years' experience in logistics management, including direct oversight of construction project site logistics 
  • Experience managing oversize and special permit transport 
  • Forklift certification a plus
  • Professional working proficiency in Spanish a plus

Physical Requirements 

  • Ability to lift and transport heavy objects
  • Willingness to work outdoors in a construction site environment

$82,450$111,350 USD

Actual base salary offered to the hired applicant will be determined based on their work location, level, qualifications, job-related skills, as well as relevant education or training and experience.​
