We are searching for a Manufacturing Site Manager to be responsible for managing EH2’s first gigawatt-scale electrolyzer manufacturing site & operations activities. You should have experience with overall operational safety, manufacturing labor, operational planning, site facilities, site security, regulatory compliance, and manufacturing output. We are looking for an individual with a minimum of 10 years of relevant experience in automotive, semiconductor or technology manufacturing sectors.

You will work 100% onsite and be based at our location in Devens, MA. You will report into the Director of Manufacturing Engineering. 

Role and Responsibilities

  • Site operations leader, managing Electric Hydrogen’s first manufacturing site.
  • Provide strong leadership to drive Electric Hydrogen’s culture and improve operational excellence including safety, quality, and product delivery.
  • Responsible for all aspects of site management including manufacturing personnel, site facilities maintenance, site safety, front office, materials management, product quality, warehousing, and production operations.
  • Manage production personnel including setting performance objectives, performance appraisals and resolving staffing issues.
  • Monitor, train and adjust personnel to meet production targets.
  • Create a culture of Continuous Improvement using Lean/Six Sigma principles to improve production and business processes.
  • Coach and mentor the plant leadership teams to ensure that manufacturing objectives are met in a reliable and cost-effective manner.
  • Represent and support community service activities for the facility.

Qualifications

  • Proven leadership capabilities, to include outstanding people skills with the ability to interact across all levels of the organization and with external stakeholders
  • Bachelor’s degree in science or engineering 
  • 10-12 years’ experience in manufacturing 
  • 5-7 years’ experience in plant operations
  • Ability to understand and resolve technical issues
  • Proven ability to manage and influence diverse or challenging stakeholders
  • Excellent problem-solving skills: Able to be a creative thinker and devise creative solutions to complicated problems
  • Lean/Six Sigma background preferred

$120,000$160,000 USD

Actual base salary offered to the hired applicant will be determined based on their work location, level, qualifications, job-related skills, as well as relevant education or training and experience.​
