Key Responsibilities:
Will be the responsible for Electrical Spares Procurement for BESS products
Identify and assess potential suppliers for materials and components required for production.
Evaluate supplier capabilities, quality, and reliability.
Negotiate pricing, terms, and conditions with suppliers to secure favourable contracts while maintaining quality and reliability.
Create, review, and approve purchase orders for materials and components. Ensure accuracy in quantities, specifications, and pricing to meet manufacturing needs.
Build and maintain strong relationships with key suppliers. Collaborate with them to resolve issues, improve delivery times (OTD achievement), and ensure consistent quality.
Partner closely with factory planners, CM & PM for managing inventory levels to prevent shortages and minimize excess stock.
Identify opportunities for cost reduction and process improvement.
Ensure that all procurement activities adhere to company policies, industry regulations, and quality standards.
Identify and mitigate risks related to supply chain disruptions, supplier reliability, and changes in market conditions that may impact production.
Work with suppliers to improve their processes, quality, and reliability. Collaborate on long-term strategies to enhance the supplier's capabilities.
Weekly/ Monthly supplier performance reporting & monitoring.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering, supply chain management, or a related field.
4 to 5 years’ experience in Direct Material procurements / Spares Procurement
Strong negotiation and communication skills.
Strong interpersonal skills to work with team members and suppliers
Global procurement & logistics knowledge. Handling global suppliers and co-ordinating with global logistics team for material deliveries (All the mode of transport)
Proficiency in procurement software and tools, Expecting Strong experience in SAP S4 HANA (P2P Process)
Strong MRP Knowledge
Analytical and problem-solving abilities.
Knowledge of relevant industry regulations and quality standards.
Ability to work in a fast-paced, production-focused environment.
Desire to join a rapidly growing company in an exciting industry.
Knowledge on contract manufacturing would be additional advantage
Experience with lean or Six Sigma methodologies for process improvement.
Advanced proficiency in data analysis with Microsoft tools, (Excel, word, PowerPoint etc..)
Familiarity with international logistics and import/export regulations.
