In this role you are critical in ensuring the success of the brand in the Middle East as the Brand Specialist. You are a true team player working cross functionally within the various teams and departments at Lucida's Middle East Office in Riyadh as well as our Global HQ in California. As the “Brand Guardian”, the Brand Specialist maintains brand integrity across all company marketing initiatives and communications, and is charged with concepting ideas and generating clear, concise content treatments to support the brand’s core mission and DNA, from ideation to execution. The Brand Specialist has a proven storytelling ability to create, direct and execute world-class content that delivers against the Lucid standards and drives engagement across any platform.
 
Brand Specialist have a unique perspective and a creative sensibility able to translate across content types. This person understands what type of creative can be executed based on the various types of projects, resulting in refined and deliberate creative. This person has their finger on the pulse of the market and strives to ensure marketing, sales, and brand initiatives are consistently communicated. A highly collaborative role, the Brand Specialist interacts with a variety of people day-to-day and needs to be versatile, outgoing, and able to thrive in a fast-paced environment

Responsibilities:

  • Oversee the conceptualization and production of world-class branded content as well as execute daily needs in a timely fashion. 
  • Develop Arabic copy and transcription of all marketing English content
  • Contribute to style guides and apply those guides across platforms to drive a cohesive brand vision
  • Be an active part of the concepting of projects and campaigns; including printed magazines, brochures, showroom and event pop ups, digital ads, social media and communications as well as branded video creative.
  • Provide and execute against creative target for all project team members.
  • Brainstorm concepts, create mockups, refine design details, and prepare assets.
  • Analyze local markets to ensure brand purpose and guidelines resonate and are consistently messaged across the board.
  • Collaborate with various departments (clients), producers, photography crews, editors, graphic artists, and designers to achieve the finished product.
  • Partner with the Creative Leads of the Brands Team to lead and enhance our compelling brand vision, architecture and creative voice as a passionate steward, advocate, and gatekeeper of each brand.
  • Help art direct and select photography and rendered assets.
  • Liaise with any third parties or agencies in support of Brand content production and creation.
  • Work closely and iteratively with Marketing, Sales, and Brand teams to ensure accuracy throughout the creative process.
  • Work collectively across all functions from marketing to engineers and the leadership team to convey the value of the brand within a business context.
  • Be immersed in our company values and passions, instilling the integrity of the company and of brand in the look, the feel and the execution of design storytelling.

  • Qaluficathions:

  • 5+ years of experience working on brand centered projects and campaigns.
  • Superb written and communication skills.
  • Experience working with external agencies, creators and talents.
  • Skilled in multi-tasking to manage a high volume of creative and content
  • Passion for mission-driven brands.
  • A demonstrated user empathy approach to design and fluency in creative analytics, creative thinking, with knowledge of the product and retail space
  • Expert aptitude in project management tools.
  • Deep understanding of layout and typography for print and environmental
  • Understanding of the premium luxury space.
  • Adept in Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, and Sketch.
  • Must possess a portfolio demonstrating work across a range of mediums specifically showing expertise in graphic design, art direction, and Arabic copywriting, brand development.
  • Requirements:

  • You are proficient in Arabic and English creative writing 
  • You are proficient: You have deep experience executing brand and product strategies across video content. You bring your brain to the table as well as your awesome creative skills addressing every detail to bring the brand to life.
  • You are creative: You have deep knowledge and command of the concept and execution of product + brand communications and how to collaborate with a cross-functional team to get a project done. You are always in ‘idea mode’ and know how to bring people along in your thinking. 
  • You are a team player: You thrive collaborating with teams and building ideas. You listen to others to solve creative challenges and take direction when needed. You can act either as a leader or as an active participant in meetings, according to the business needs. 
  • You are effective: You are highly organized and your verbal and written communication is clear and professional as you manage high volume creative guiding various project clients, teams and talents in parallel toward the project goal.
  • You are resourceful: You are a self-starter, We are a small, busy team. Our creative output is disproportionate to our size. We do this by being nimble, resourceful problem solvers that work smart.
