BMS Engineer

In this role, you will be responsible for the design, development, specification, and of ESS (Energy Storage Solution) Li-ion Battery Management System, hardware, software and controls. You will the part of a team focused on the development of battery algorithms deployed at the edge and in the cloud to provide industry-leading controls and analytics.   You will define and work requirements with suppliers and internal partners.

Responsibilities

•Design and release of BMS software and controls

•Manage the field data analytics team in developing tools and methodologies to report on battery system operation.

•Coordinate the development and release of BMS and analytics SW 

•Working with HW and SW engineering, developing HIL and SIL testing tools 

•Work with project/product management to track and maintain the schedule.

Education and Experience

•B.Tech / M.Tech. in Electronics / Electrical Engineering

•12 to 15 years in design and development of battery SW and control systems.

•Experience with requirements management and test tracking tools.  (Jira, Jama, Doors, TestRail, etc.)

•Experience in and knowledge of Agile development methods.

•Strong technical communication skills.

•Passion for batteries, sharing know-how, and learning from others.
