Key Responsibilities:

Intercell Isolation: Design and implement effective intercell isolation techniques to ensure safety and reliability within battery packs.

Manual Service Disconnect (MSD): Manage the integration of MSDs, ensuring they meet safety and operational standards.

Busing Systems: Engineer robust busing systems for efficient and safe power distribution within battery energy storage solutions.

Creepage and Clearance/Electrical Isolation: Ensure proper creepage and clearance distances are maintained to prevent electrical arcing and improve overall safety.

Battery Pole Connectors: Design and optimize battery pole connectors for enhanced performance and reliability.

Component Selection and Testing: Select appropriate electrical components and perform rigorous testing to validate their performance and compliance with industry standards.

Safety Standards Compliance: Ensure all designs and implementations comply with relevant safety standards and regulations, such as UL, IEC, and ISO.

System Integration: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration of electrical components into the overall battery energy storage system.

Problem Solving: Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to electrical components and systems to maintain optimal performance.

Documentation: Prepare detailed documentation of designs, tests, and processes to support product development and certification.

Key Skills and Qualifications:

Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering or related field.

Strong understanding of intercell isolation techniques and safety protocols.

Proficiency in designing and integrating Manual Service Disconnects (MSDs).

Experience with busing systems and their application in battery energy storage solutions.

Knowledge of creepage and clearance requirements for electrical isolation.

Expertise in designing and optimizing battery pole connectors.

Familiarity with industry standards and regulatory requirements for battery systems.

Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

Strong communication skills and ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
