What You’ll Do
- Lead architecting and development of state-of-the-art automation system, executing
tests in an HIL simulation environment for eVTOL aircraft.
- Define test plans for avionics subsystems, monitor KPI to track test coverage and test
campaigns.
- Design and build test setups.

development of new features.
- Ensure that the test automation system is tightly integrated with the company's continuous
integration environment and requirement management tools.
- Develop programming interfaces for the test automation framework.
- Develop Python tools to read in ICD files from labs in order to execute tests.
- Develop Python tools to read lab data to feed into the SQL data pipeline.
- Develop Python test scripts to support testing aircraft software and hardware.
- Design and develop visualization tools in Python or Grafana to interact with lab data from
National Instruments and dSPACE lab equipment.
- Develop data processing tools to decode, interpret, and reduce recorded data from aircraft
vehicles.
- Develop web-based reporting tools to visualize lab and flight test data.
- Simplify the deployment and maintenance of the test automation system to support all Archer
labs.
- Define test plans for avionics subsystems, monitor key performance indices to track test
coverage and test campaigns.
- Support the design and build of integrated aircraft systems test setups.
- Write and maintain the documentation of the automated test system.
- Develop Python API for the test automation framework.
- Integrate the test automation system into the TeamCity CI framework to execute nightly
regression tests. Develop Python tools to process data for InfluxDB. Decode, interpret, and
reduce recorded data from aircraft vehicles.
What You Need:
- Master’s degree or foreign equivalent in Mechanical, Electrical or Aerospace Engineering
- 2 years in the job offered or as a Systems Software Developer, Aerospace, Electrical or
Mechanical Engineer.
- Experience to include development of C++ integrated autopilot systems, Python framework
testing, failure analysis, simulation software bug correction testing, and Linux.
