The Role
As an Associate, Sales, you will drive actionable and profitable sales growth across multiple industry verticals, working collaboratively to establish EV Realty’s Powered Properties™ as the leading contracted multi-fleet charging hub solution. Your efforts will be critical for identifying potential sales opportunities within specific industry segments and geographical regions; collaborating with sales, product, and business development teams to craft comprehensive and compelling proposals demonstrating our value proposition; planning, coordinating, and executing participation in industry conferences, trade shows, and events. The ideal candidate will have a successful track record of consultative sales experience working with both senior executives and purchasing managers and will excel at building customer trust.

This role is a Hybrid role in our San Francisco office, or fully remote to candidates outside of the San Francisco Bay Area.

Key Responsibilities

  • Work with Director of Sales to develop and execute against a comprehensive sales strategy to achieve the company’s revenue and profit objectives
  • Identify and prioritize potential clients through research, data analysis, and direct client outreach consisting of emails, calls and meetings (both in person and virtual)
  • Identify and lead EV Realty sales efforts at tradeshows, conferences and other events to generate leads and build relationships with potential customers
  • Prepare customer presentation materials, requests for information (RFI) and requests for proposal (RFP)
  • Manage, integrate, and expand a CRM system to track customer data, sales activities, and progress while building and maintaining an internal database of customer fleet profiles
  • Knowledge & Skills

  • Self-starter with an entrepreneurial work ethic and strong problem solving skills
  • Advanced proficiency using and integrating CRM platforms (e.g., Salesforce, Hubspot, etc.) to provide actionable customer pipeline visibility to Company stakeholders
  • Strong communication skills: ability to effectively engage with customers, actively listen to their needs, and articulate product benefits in a clear and compelling manner
  • Demonstrated aptitude in fostering positive and diplomatic relationships with customers to drive sales and enhance overall customer satisfaction
  • Experience with making data driven business cases including market assessments, financial returns and framing of customer value
  • Ability to manage simultaneous projects, set priorities and exercise independent judgement
  • Qualifications

  • Mission-driven to combat the effects of climate change by tackling the urgent problem of decarbonizing the transportation sector at scale
  • Proven consultative sales experience, with a history of meeting or exceeding targets
  • 3+ years of sales experience in commercial fleet, EV infrastructure or closely adjacent industries
  • Ability to identify customer needs and effectively craft solutions to resolve complex situations
  • Ability to summarize complex issues and opportunities into succinct and actionable deliverables
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Bachelor’s degree in business, Finance, Marketing, or a related field
  • Proficiency with MS Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) and CRM (HubSpot preferred)
