The Role:

  • In this role you will be embedded within the High Voltage Team and work cross functionally within the Hardware Engineering department. As part of the team, you will support the Technical Project Manager for High Voltage Battery Testing by maintaining documentation, organizing purchasing, communicating with supply chain, and helping monitor high voltage issues through JIRA.
  • You will:

  • Assist a Technical Project Manager and work closely with the High Voltage Battery Testing team
  • Lead supplier and vendor communications 
  • Assist in battery cell and battery pack development
  • Support maintenance of the High Voltage Testing team Jira, Confluence, Excel, and Smartsheets
  • Coordinate lab tooling and equipment bringup and maintenance
  • Create purchase requests to support testing efforts
  • Build strong relationships with the High Voltage team
  • Qualifications:

  • Strong understanding of research and development testing environments and practices
  • Ability to communicate effectively in a fast-paced environment
  • Bonus Points:

  • Consistent record of project management, and engineering design
  • Experience working with International OEM partners
  • Familiarity with Jira, Confluence, and Smartsheet
  • Desire to expand into larger project management role
  • Education:

  • MS or BS in an engineering discipline or related field or equivalent work experience
