The Associate Buyer will be supporting the needs of the R&D organization within CFS. Rather than focus on a single commodity within the SPARC device, the Associate Buyer will support a wide variety of engineering and manufacturing projects that serve to de-risk SPARC. The Associate Buyer will report to the Head of Supplier Integration, Special Projects.
This individual is highly organized, independent, and has a desire to develop a wide breadth of knowledge of various conventional and advanced manufacturing processes.
This individual will support the procurement needs of the R&D organization, including vendor negotiations, PO issuance, invoice resolution, order follow up and data analytics.

This team member will:
Create error-free purchase orders up to authorized limits for raw materials, parts, subassemblies, finished goods, equipment, tooling, supplies, and/or services from suppliers in support of R&D customer requirementsWork with the internal customers to identify new suppliers and technologies that support the needs of the R&D organizationSet up terms and accounts with new suppliers and complete data entry necessary to onboard the suppliers into CFS systemsIdentify the best value supplier by identify requests for quote and analyzing responses from suppliersReview and manage open orders with suppliers to ensure product arrives as expectedResolve invoice issues and ensure that vendors are paid on timeAdhere to all supply chain policies, procedures, guidelines and instructions including those regarding the procurement of materials, intellectual property, and export complianceProvide constant, clear, and timely updates to internal customersThe ideal candidate will have most, if not all, of these requirements:
Bachelor's degree or equivalent0-2 years of experience in Procurement, Supply Chain, or a related roleExperience with MS OfficeExceptional communication skillsStrong relationship building skillsA desire to develop a strong understanding of various manufacturing processesAbility to prioritize and execute tasks IntegrityStrong customer service skillsRemarkable problem solving skillsWorks well under pressurePossess excellent judgmentAdditional experience and/or qualifications:
