We are looking for an Application Support Lead who will:
Drive the uptime and availability of the business ERP acting as the lead SME for the wider business. You will be working within the IT delivery team to help support and cross train the wider team, as well as being the main point of escalation with IT. You must have experience working across a wide range of business systems and have experience working with functional leads across procurement, Finance and engineering on business requirements. You will partner heavily with Portfolio Managers/delivery manager on backlog planning and execution of improvements to meet business priorities.
The responsibilities and duties of the Application Support Lead will be as follows:
- Assisting with the implementation of a new ERP system (Infor)
- Administration/Maintenance of existing ERP application (rootstock+ peripheral systems), and process uptime - focusing on limiting customer impact.
- Managing the support tickets process (point of escalation). Liaising to ensure issues are understood clearly.
- Establishing strong relationships and working closely with cross functional teams to maintaining ERP and peripheral systems including Disaster Recovery, Server/Application and Storage maintenance/upgrades.
- Partner with the Business, Project team, Delivery Managers, and our vendors to gather requirements, understand the technical design challenges of proposed solutions, review the availability of the required process, and process changes that all align to our business strategy.
- Data management – migration, testing transformation (ETL) experience
The successful Application Support Lead will have the following Experiences & Qualifications:
- Experience in a broad range of technologies, Microsoft, Azure, engineering application, 3DX
- Strong experience with ERP systems, preferably Infor and Rootstock experience
- Excellent communication and management skills.
- Strong documentation and process management
- Previous experience in an application support role
- Application monitoring and incident management
