We are looking for a HIL Development & Test Engineer who will:

The successful HIL Development & Test Engineer your responsibilities will include:

  • Responsible for requirements specification, validation, integration, and verification of Hardware in the Loop testing facilities.
  • Responsible for design hardware and software solutions for HIL testing including data acquisition, instrumentation, fault injection, data stimulus and recording systems.
  • Development of Human Machine Interfaces (HMI), aircraft virtual panels.
  • Design HIL hardware interfaces and harnesses according to aircraft EWIS specifications.
  • Integration, verification, and validation of test solutions for electronic / electro-mechanical equipment and systems for test facilities.
  • Manage the EBOM, MBOM and configuration control of test rigs.
  • Design test automation and post data analysis automation applications to improve test campaign metrics.
  • Troubleshoot labs and systems in case of problems as well reporting problems and actively participating change control board.

 

The successful HIL Development & Test Engineer will have the following Experiences & Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s in engineering (or similar degree).
  • Experienced designing systems for data stimulus, acquisition and recording including its HMI, using applications such as MATLAB/Simulink, LabVIEW, Python, JavaScript, C/C++.
  • Experienced with data acquisition systems such as Speedgoat, National Instruments, RT-Opal or Dspace, familiarity with GE Reflective Memory is a plus.
  • Experienced with digital protocols such as Arinc-429/717/664, CAN Bus, RS422, RS485, RS422, AFDX.
  • Familiarity with typical industrial panel-building methods and control equipment (safety relays, PLCs, VSDs, signal conditioners etc.)
  • Familiarity in creating schematics and wiring diagrams using 2D electrical CAD software would be highly desirable.
  • Familiarity with Requirement Management tools such as DOORS, Windchill RV&S, Eclipse, JAMA
