We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented individual to join our accounting team as a Trainee in the Accounting Department for Lucid Middle East. This position will primarily focus on providing support to the Accounting Department for Archiving and Account Reconciliations. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring the accuracy and organization of financial records through diligent file and data archiving.

The role:

  • File Archiving:
  • Assist in the development and implementation of a systematic and efficient file archiving system.
  • Organize and maintain physical and electronic files in accordance with company policies and industry standards.
  • Ensure timely and accurate archiving of financial documents, statements, and reports.

  • Data Archiving:
  • Collaborate with the Accounting team to archive electronic data, ensuring the security and integrity of financial information.
  • Implement data archiving best practices to optimize storage space and retrieval processes.
  • Regularly audit archived data to identify and rectify any discrepancies.

  • Account Reconciliations:
  • Support Accountants in reconciling financial records, identifying discrepancies, and proposing corrective actions.
  • Assist in preparing reconciliations for various accounts, ensuring accuracy and compliance with established accounting principles.

  • Documentation Management:
  • Maintain an organized database of all archived files and documents for easy retrieval.
  • Collaborate with team members to standardize documentation procedures and ensure consistency in archiving practices.
  • Generate reports summarizing archived files and data for periodic review.

  • Audit Support:
  • Prepare documentation and assist during internal and external audits related to archived files and reconciliations.
  • Work closely with auditors to provide requested information in a timely and organized manner.

  • Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel.
  • Basic understanding of accounting principles and practices.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
  • Eagerness to learn and grow within the accounting profession.
