What You Will Be Doing

As a Key Account Manager for EV Charging Software, you will be responsible for developing and maintaining strategic business relationships with key clients in the Electromobility sector, with a primary focus on software solutions. Your role is crucial in ensuring customer success through the delivery of innovative software products, contributing significantly to revenue growth, customer satisfaction, and brand presence in this emerging market segment.

What You Will Bring to ChargePoint

  • Customer Relationship Development
    • Identify potential key clients in the Electromobility sector requiring software solutions
    • Build and maintain long-term, strategic relationships with existing clients
    • Understand the individual needs and requirements of customers, providing tailored software solutions
  • Sales of Electromobility Software
    • Develop and implement sales strategies to increase revenue in Electromobility
    • Present and demonstrate software solutions to potential customers
    • Negotiate contracts and agreements related to software licensing, achieving revenue goals through cross-selling and upselling
    • Actively participate in negotiations and contract closures
  • Market Analysis
    • Continuously monitor and analyze the Electromobility market
    • Identify market opportunities, conduct competitive analyses, and provide actionable recommendations
    • Collaborate with internal teams to adapt software products to changing market demands
  • Product and Service Optimization
    • Collaborate with internal teams to continuously adapt products and services to Electromobility market requirements
    • Collect customer feedback and relay it to relevant departments to promote continuous improvements
  • Communication
    • Effectively communicate with internal teams to ensure customer requirements are met
    • Represent the company at events and trade shows in the Electromobility sector

Requirements

  • University degree, preferably with a business, IT, or computer science focus
  • Fluent in both English and German, additional languages are advantageous
  • Experience in selling software solutions, preferably in the Electromobility sector. Understanding of the Electromobility industry and its software requirements
  • Strong negotiation and communication skills
  • Ability to communicate complex technical concepts clearly
  • Proactive, self-motivated work approach, and results-oriented
  • Willingness to travel
