About the Role
We are seeking a committed and motivated Account Executive with a laser focus on generating new business and driving usage in North America. On a day-to-day basis, you will develop new business opportunities and ensure the growth of top customers by sharing Aurora Solar's value. Your duties will include generating opportunities with new customers, forecasting sales activity, achieving usage value targets, and building satisfied and referable customers.
Your Impact
Prepare and deliver detailed product demonstrations of software capabilities and associated benefits to managers, directors, and C-level executives
Be responsible for territory revenue growth and achieving quarterly booking goals
Leverage industry and product knowledge to research and develop accounts, identify key partners, generate interest, and close new business
Collaborate across all major internal functional areas, from sales engineering to customer success, onboarding, and customers
Needs to be adept at selling complex multi-SKU software solutions
Proactively seek solar industry VP & C-Suite prospects to qualify, build, and manage an accurate sales funnel and pipeline
Manage, track, and report on all activities and results using our sales tech stack (Salesforce, Gong, Outreach, ZoomInfo, etc)
Recognize and overcome objections by turning skeptics into new brand ambassadors
What You Bring
Bachelor's degree
2+ years of quota-carrying SaaS sales experience (solar industry a plus)
Consistent overachievement against sales targets in previous roles
Adaptability - you know that change is constant and you adopt it. You move quickly and encourage continued improvement across the entire team
Team mentality by prioritizing ‘we’ and not focusing on ‘me’
Superb listening skills
Desire to grow in a sales career
Nice to Haves
Experience using Salesforce, Outreach, ZoomInfo and DemandBase
Experience working in the renewable energy sector
Experience working within a Pod framework (CS, BDR, SE)
Experience with a Usage-Based Model for contracting
