Zoox is transforming mobility-as-a-service by developing a fully autonomous, purpose-built fleet designed for AI to drive and humans to enjoy.

As our Warehouse Manager, you will be responsible for day-to-day operations for the manufacturing warehouse including receiving, stocking, inventory management, shipping and other warehouse related activities. You will also be responsible for planning, developing, and improving warehouse processes within the network. Additionally, you are responsible for hiring and developing the warehouse teams across the network.

You will be responsible for assisting us transition toward being a more production-ready company.

Compensation and Benefits

There are three major components to compensation for this position: salary, Amazon Restricted Stock Units (RSUs), and Zoox Stock Appreciation Rights. The salary range for this position is $145,000 to $210,000. A sign-on bonus may be offered as part of the compensation package. Compensation will vary based on geographic location and level. Leveling, as well as positioning within a level, is determined by a range of factors, including, but not limited to, a candidate's relevant years of experience, domain knowledge, and interview performance. The salary range listed in this posting is representative of the range of levels Zoox is considering for this position.

Responsibilities

Developing a strategy for making sure all our materials are delivered on time to our internal customers at the most efficient cost during a high growth environment – General Assembly and Base Operations

Develop existing warehouse team and play an active role in hiring activities to grow the team.

Establish the process to operate and maintain in optimum condition our warehouse equipment.

Develop and implement the safety guidelines to ensure team safety around power industrial equipment (i.e., forklift, scissor lift, etc.)

Develop standardized work processes within the warehouse

Manage day-to-day operations of warehouse activities, including receiving, kitting, and cycle counting within multiple facilities

Support in the monitoring and management of budget forecast and performance against forecast; develop and implement corrective actions when performance is not in line with budget

Develop and monitor KPIs to ensure continuous improvement in cost, service, and quality (i.e., safety, quality, response time, inventory accuracy, budgeting)

Communicate clearly and effectively with internal and external stakeholders to ensure Logistics is providing high-quality service. Including but limited to, Zoox Logistics, Engineering, Service Operations

Qualifications

BA/BS Degree + 8-10 years of relevant experience in the warehouse operations

5-7 years of experience managing direct reports (1:1s, performance evaluations, comp discussions, etc.)

Experience with WMS systems (the current system is Info+, which will deprecate and move into SAP at the end of the year. Manhatten experience is also beneficial).

Strong communication, teamwork, problem-solving, and interpersonal skills

Ability to lead and commute to different warehouse locations – must be flexible (Fremont & Hayward sites primarily). 5-10% travel to SF & Las Vegas locations per year

Strong work ethic; able to independently own and drive projects in a fast-paced, dynamic environment

Knowledge of warehouse operations, team development, and customer service
