Plenty is looking for a part-time Warehouse Associate to join our fast-paced Plant Science team. In this role, you will assist with warehouse operations, inventory, and supply needs of the facility to ensure all materials are organized for easy access. You will fulfill material requests for consumable tracking and rearrange the warehouse to support our team build the latest farm technology and advance cutting edge indoor farming research.
- Fulfill consumable orders for all Plenty farms
- Assist in warehouse relocation projects
- Organize incoming freight in accordance with upcoming projects
- Perform quarterly inventory count
- Receive items for the Accounts Payable team to process
- Properly dispose of hazardous waste drums (triple rinse, remove labels, destroy containers)
- Push, pull, lift and transport boxed items weighing up to 50 pounds
- Work schedule: Monday - Friday from ~10:00 am - 2:00 pm
- Minimum 1 year of warehouse, fulfillment or related experience
- Responsible and fast learner that has the ability to be a self-starter w
- Ability to work autonomously
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Computer literacy; able to work with new computer systems and technology
- Excellent attention to detail with the ability to prioritize several tasks daily and consistently meet deadlines

Food & Safety Requirements
- Comply with all Plant, State and Federal OSHA, EPA, FDA, HACCP, and SQF regulations
- All employees must show proof of COVID vaccination before starting work, other than in limited circumstances where the law requires an exception
- Assist in the maintenance of Food Safety and Quality system
- Responsible for making sure the methods and responsibility for the maintenance and repair of equipment and buildings shall be documented, planned and carried out in a manner that minimizes the risk of product, packaging or equipment contamination
