About the company:

At Sealed, we're unlocking comfort, value and efficiency in aging homes– and transforming energy, finance and home improvement along the way.
With Sealed, it's easy and affordable to solve the problems that make houses too hot, too cold, and too wasteful. In partnership with energy utilities and certified contractors, Sealed finances key home improvements using the money homeowners currently waste on energy.
Homes are renewed from the inside-out– all without increasing homeowners' expenses. Upgrades like HVAC, insulation, air sealing and smart home technology transform the way a home feels and functions. Sealed coordinates projects from beginning to end, and we stand behind our work. If we don't reduce a home's energy use, we don't get paid.

Who are we?
Sealed is a climate tech company on a mission to stop home energy waste and electrify all homes.
Sealed designs, manages, and finances home weatherization and electrification projects, making it easy and affordable for people to be more comfortable while using less energy. Our proven holistic approach can reduce energy use by 50% and takes a home completely off of fossil fuels with upgrades like high-performance insulation, air sealing, and heat pump HVAC. Our expert team designs the right solution, matches top-rated local contractors, and manages the project start to finish. Sealed covers the upfront costs, and we’re accountable to impact: if we don’t cut energy waste, we don’t get paid.
Sealed is venture backed, with investments from Cyrus Capital, Fifth Wall, Footprint Coalition (Robert Downey Jr.) as well as the CEO of Reddit, executives from Handy, Brex, Instacart, and Opendoor among others. Sealed is one of Fast Company’s top ten most innovative energy companies of 2021. Based in New York City with a remote-first work environment, Sealed was also featured as one of Inc. Magazine's 'Ventures that Embody the U.N.‘s Sustainability Goals'. Learn more at sealed.com.
