VP, Corporate Operations

Job Description

Lilac is seeking a VP, Corporate Operations to lead corporate operations and support operations across multiple countries and multiple technical divisions spanning advanced materials manufacturing, hydrometallurgy services, and lithium project development. These operations span the US, Argentina, Chile, Bolivia, Canada, UK, and Europe. This person will support the divisions in a cross-cutting manner in the domains of corporate operations, organizational strategy, operations planning, international logistics, facilities, security, EHS, and IT. The role will also support efficient coordination of Legal, Finance, and People teams across this multinational structure. 

The candidate will report directly to Lilac’s CEO and work alongside C-, EVP-, and VP-level leaders running technology and operations for various technical divisions. This is a full-time position at Lilac’s headquarters in Oakland, California with travel to domestic and international regional headquarters, engineering offices, logistics offices, and field operations.

Candidate Qualifications

• 10+ years of leadership experience in corporate operations, including 5+ years at a growth-stage company
• Experience building and maintaining complex organizational structures
• Experience scaling large teams across multiple locations
• Experience managing directly or indirectly facilities, security, and IT
• Excellent communication skills
• Highly organized with sharp attention to detail
• Ability to help set and maintain ambitious goals for company and support execution
• US work permit
• Willingness to travel domestically and internationally up to 25%
• Excited to work in a growth-stage climate tech company achieving global scale at a rapid pace

Preferred Skills

• Experience in heavy industry and/or project developmen
• Fluent Spanish

Compensation

• Salary range: $200K-$250K annually (commensurate with experience)
