Zoox’s internship program provides hands-on experiences with state of the art technology, mentorship from some of the industry's brightest minds, and the opportunity to play a part in our success. Internships at Zoox are reserved for those who demonstrate outstanding academic performance, activities outside their course work, aptitude, curiosity, and a passion for Zoox's mission.
As a Test Automation or QA Systems Intern, you may be assigned to one of the following teams:
On the Autonomy Systems Test team, you will oversee the development of extensive test plans, develop standardized simulated test design tooling processes to execute many different scenarios, and put together triage pipelines for analyzing issues seen during offline and on-vehicle testing. The work might include working on developer efficiency projects in the software test execution, kickoff, maintenance, and reporting processes and improving the tooling of our Teleplan testing systems.
On the AI system integration for automation team, you will develop and prototype LLM-powered automation workflows which can be embedded into the QA Engineering processes to increase efficiency and automation. You’ll work with the team to build, test, and deploy automation solutions using modern AI technologies. You will help to prototype and scale to production agent-based workflows integrating LLMs and Tool APIs into current application.
On the Product Software Quality Assurance team, your role will focus on building scalable integration automation frameworks and enhancing existing frameworks for automated testing across our full stack of tools and vehicle software. You will design and implement component and integration automation infrastructure, utilizing the latest in AI technology and machine learning paired with our cutting edge vehicle simulations to ensure comprehensive test coverage and reduce manual testing efforts. By prioritizing automation for repetitive tasks, developing robust regression suites, and focusing on edge cases and high-stress scenarios, you will ensure the end-to-end reliability of ride service software.
