About the Role
We are looking for a hands-on Technician to support the assembly, installation, and testing of electronic and mechanical components in a vehicle environment. This is a temporary position ideal for someone mechanically inclined, detail-oriented, and comfortable following procedures and reporting results. This role will be based in our South San Francisco office. This is a temporary position that is needed for three to four months.
We are looking for a technician to start in the position immediately and work through the end of April.
What You'll Do
Perform mechanical tasks such as screwing/unscrewing hardware and mounting components.Connect and route cables according to documentation.Use a multimeter to verify continuity, voltage.Assist in attaching electronic systems and harnesses to test vehicles.Follow step-by-step instructions for installations and configurations.Communicate task completion, including reporting any issues, failures, or deviations.Maintain a clean and organized work area.Collaborate with engineers and technical leads as needed.What You'll Bring
Hands-on experience with mechanical and electrical assembly.Comfortable using common tools (screwdrivers, wrenches, multimeter, etc.).Ability to read basic diagrams and follow detailed instructions.Strong attention to detail and ability to document work clearly.Good communication and teamwork skills.Able to lift up to 40 lbs and work in vehicle environments.
