The Technical Trainer will drive creation and execution of energy storage training programs in a way that is engaging and informative, to help transform the way we power our world. The position will work with internal/external customers to ensure training requirements are met for our products and services initiatives. This position will report to the Services Training Director.

As the Technical Trainer, you will:
Prepare and deliver high caliber technical training presentations, webinars, worksheets, and workshops to internal and external customers Perform hands-on training on-site or at a training facility and include job performance measure evaluations of traineesCoordinate schedules working in cooperation with multiple project stakeholders including Fluence construction managers, contractors, suppliers, customers, etc.Maintain training content and revisions on Learning Management System (LMS) and utilize reporting within the systemLiaise with subject matter experts regarding instructional designProvide feedback and input to Services documentation to include training content and technical manual or proceduresEvaluate results of training programs and make recommendations on training material and methodology and implement actions to continuously improveWhat will our ideal candidate bring to Fluence?
Undergraduate degree required with strong preference for technical degree 10+ years related experience in electric utility or independent power producer within generation / operations / technical teams (preferably renewable energy as a technical trainer, senior operations & maintenance technician, or manager)Highly developed interpersonal skills with ability to interface with multiple levels of customer organizations.Experience as an administrator on Learning Management (LMS) platform preferredExperience using training content editing tools preferredStrong understanding of business goals and standards for customer service.Ability to thrive in a fast-paced and high-pressure environmentMust have excellent verbal and written communication skills as well as follow-upExcellent MS Office; SCADA Experience; MODBUS ExperienceMust be willing and able to travel up to 50% of the time in support of training schedules.Requires ability to physically bend, stoop, sit, stand, walk, reach, climb ladders/steps, and lift up to 40 lbs.
