We are currently seeking an Advanced Engineering Specialist to join our Customer Response team. This position requires an experienced professional who is passionate about helping customers resolve ADAS issues. Our ideal candidate exhibits a can-do attitude and approaches his or her work with vigor and determination. Candidates will be expected to demonstrate excellence in their respective fields, possess the ability to learn quickly, and strive for perfection within a fast-paced environment.
Salary Range: The compensation range for this position is specific to the locations listed below and is the range Lucid reasonably and in good faith expects to pay for the position taking into account the wide variety of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions, including job-related knowledge; skillset; experience, education and training; certifications; and other relevant business and organizational factors.
· California (Bay Area) - $150,000-$214,500
Additional Compensation and Benefits: Lucid offers a wide range of competitive benefits, including medical, dental, vision, life insurance, disability insurance, vacation, and 401k. The successful candidate may also be eligible to participate in Lucid’s equity program and/or a discretionary annual incentive program, subject to the rules governing such programs. The Role:
Function as an Advanced Engineering Specialist between Field/Service, Customer Care, Electrical and Software teams to analyze issues identified in the fieldWork with the Service and Customer Care teams to monitor common customer issues and prioritize issues for resolutionCollaborate with Service, Manufacturing and Engineering teams to prevent recurrence of issuesUtilize data acquisition and analysis tools like Grafana, Kibana, Tableau, CANalyzer etc. to root cause and resolve issuesImprove diagnostic capability and performance by identifying gaps in the field.Create and present executive summary on specific issues, and issue trends on a regular basisDemonstrate expertise and be recognized as the SME in one or more functional domains like Infotainment, ADAS, Controls, Electrical, Closures, Thermal systems, Powertrain etc.Coach and mentor junior members of the team and develop capability.
Qualifications:
A minimum of 7-10 years with hands-on experience in creating and executing test cases supporting validation of large-scale programs & products7+ Years of experience in end-to-end Software System Validation4+ Years of experience with testing of ADAS/AD related functions, cameras, and sensors in the vehicle4+ Years of QA/Test lead experience for a feature or SystemExperience with vehicle communication protocols (CAN, DoIP, ETH, LIN, UDS ), Vector Peak CAN based toolsPreferred:
Experience with JIRA, Confluence, Test case management ToolExperience with languages like Python, C, C++ is a plusIn depth expertise/experience in Car platforms and software stacksEducation:
