JOB TITLE: Technical Program Manager
LOCATION: 2470 Mariner Square Loop, Alameda, CA 94501
JOB DUTIES: Lead and manage the planning and execution of new product development programs, from concept to launch, to meet required scope and schedule within a defined budget. Work cross-functionally with Materials Development, Process Integration, Battery Engineering, Product Management, Business Development, Research, Supply Chain, Operations, Quality and Finance. Plan and lead program details to meet deadlines. Translate business requirements into plans, with clear assumptions, scope and results. Drive progress, prioritize key activities, and proactively lead risk mitigation activities. Crisply and clearly communicate program status to partners and across teams. Streamline and optimize reporting mechanisms and processes. Cultivate strong, collaborative relationships and promote a supportive program team environment.
REQUIREMENTS: Requires a Bachelor’s Degree in mechanical engineering or electrical engineering or physical sciences. Experience must include 5 years of experience in all of the following: Build and maintain cross-functional project plans and gantt chart for product solution development programs in the Automotive segment with clear scope, resourcing and assumptions documented; Build and maintain program-level risk register, adjusting priorities and building in mitigation plans while executing the program; Generate and maintain program dashboard - updated weekly, for reporting out to teams and executives; Conduct Program Reviews (regular intervals at key milestones) with executive steering committee; Conduct Gate reviews with gate approval board with documented decisions and next steps.
SALARY: $160,000/year
