Ecovative’s Talent Development Specialist is responsible for identifying, planning, and executing programs and solutions to enhance the skills and behaviors of our leaders and team members. This role connects to the employee development experience as a critical enabler of career development and the growth and development of Ecovative’s talent at every level of the organization. This role will focus on three critical areas: Training & Development, Diversity, Equity and Inclusion, and Employee Relations. Essential Functions:
- Collaborate with the Chief People Officer and organizational leaders to identify organizational development needs, at the individual contributor, team, and organization-wide levels.
- Collaborate with various departments such as Quality and Safety to coordinate training.
- Develop training and development metrics that track investments and outcomes and contribute to the overall resource pool for the entire team.
- Maintain and analyze employee training summary documentation as a tool for future training consideration.
- Deploy programs directly, through internal staff, or through third party facilitators.
- Develop and maintain a skills inventory for all trainers across the organization.
- Coach and guide new supervisors around best practices in people development, engagement, and employee relations support.
- Develop and maintain a master list of all Ecovative internal training programs and external training partners that is updated and communicated to the team routinely.
- Communicate pulse of organization and recommendations to the CPO to drive a happy, developing, high performance work environment.
- Lead the Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion committee by engaging the committee, identifying key initiatives, communicating those initiatives to leadership, and executing on those initiatives.
- Partner with HR and Leadership to determine best practices to influence DEI across the employee lifecycle.
- Develop and facilitate company-wide Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion training sessions and/or round table discussions.
- Collaborate with HR to develop and recommend methods for attracting and retaining qualified diverse workforce.
- Act as a DEI champion to promote understanding of DEI across the organization.
- Collaborate with managers as the technical on-boarding training specialist to create early and appropriately timed connections for new employees.
- Demonstrates commitment to safety of themselves, others, and the workplace in general; actively points out ways to improve safety on the job.

- Other ad-hoc duties and projects from time to time and based on business needs.
Required Skills:
- Skilled collaborator with ability to engage in open dialogue to learn, assess, and make recommendations based on those learnings
- Experience designing skills inventory and training resource pools
- Experience developing and delivering training programs
- Must be self-motivated and flexible, results oriented in a fast-paced environment, and able to work with little supervision.
- Experience leading DEI committees and initiatives
- Must have demonstrated a proactive customer service approach.
- Technology proficiency in a variety of tools and administrative applications such as in Microsoft Office, Google suite, Dropbox, and related web-based tools and databases
- Demonstrate competence in verbal, written, organizational and prioritization skills.
- Willingness to support other human resource related functions
- Demonstrate passion and excitement about Ecovative Design and its subsidiaries.
- Networker with ability to uncover development opportunities for employees
Education and/or Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Marketing, or Ecovative industry-related field. A minimum of five (5) years’ experience in deployment of training and development programs will be considered in lieu of education.
