To implement this plan, we are looking to add dedicated people to the team who treat people well, improve our work by adding multifaceted perspectives and new ways of solving problems, have achieved outstanding results through a range of pursuits, and have skills and experience related to this role.

In our 4th year since inception, CFS is about to cross the 300 employee mark and our People Operations team is continuing to grow.  We are looking to hire a Recruiting Coordinator who will support all areas of Talent Acquisition as well as assist in HR and people operations too. This is a temporary/contract role with a focus on the technician hiring.

This team member will:

  • Help maintain the Lever Applicant Tracking System with data entry, reporting and managing a very active pipeline of talent
  • Consistently provide a world-class candidate experience for all applicants at every stage in the Talent Acquisition process
  • Schedule Video or On-Site interviews for candidates including the arrangement of any necessary travel
  • Greet and host the interviewees as their primary point of contact for the day; often juggling several on-sites daily
  • Support the organization’s sourcing efforts consistent with our strong belief in genuine diversity and inclusion opening up the top end of the recruiting funnel using the usual tools in addition to creative sources such as news articles, research publications, patent filings, government contract announcements and more
  • Schedule and facilitate intake and debrief discussions with hiring managers, interview teams and recruiters
  • The ideal candidate will have most, if not all, of these requirements:

  • A natural ability to multi-task and easily prioritize competing priorities
  • Sound judgment and situational awareness while being the first CFS point of contact
  • Excellent organization skills and demonstrated proficiency using various communication tools
  • Outstanding verbal and written communication skills
  • Experience using Lever or other Applicant Tracking Systems
  • The ability to accurately and consistently tell the CFS story as it continually evolves while properly setting expectations at all times during the process
  • Highly responsive customer service attitude, internally and externally
  • Dedication to safety to mitigate industrial hazards that may include heat, cold, noise, fumes, strong magnets, lead (Pb), high voltage, and cryogenics
