We are seeking a talented and innovative Supply and Demand Planner to join our growing Supply Chain organisation. This role will play a pivotal role in shaping the future of our supply chain operations, working closely with various teams to optimise inventory management, streamline production processes, and ensure timely delivery of our products to customers.

What you'll do

  • Develop and implement robust supply and demand planning strategies to effectively manage inventory levels and meet customer demand across multi-site operations.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams including manufacturing, installations, procurement, commercial, and finance to gather relevant data and insights for demand forecasting, inventory and transport optimisation.
  • Utilise data science techniques and tools to analyse historical sales data, market trends, product mix, and customer behaviour to forecast demand and product interdependencies accurately.
  • Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) such as forecast accuracy, lead time variance, inventory turnover, stock dwell time, stock out rate and on-time in-full delivery, and implement corrective actions as needed.
  • Act as a subject matter expert on supply chain planning processes and tools, own the information flow and provide guidance and support to internal stakeholders.
  • Work with Procurement Portfolio Managers to understand market drivers of critical parts and proactively make informed demand planning decisions balancing commercials and risks. 
  • Stay informed about industry trends, regulatory changes, and emerging technologies in supply chain management, and incorporate best practices into our operations.

  • What you'll need

  • Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Data Science, Economics or a related field. 
  • Proven experience in supply chain planning, demand forecasting, or inventory management, preferably in a manufacturing or distribution environment on direct to consumer goods
  • Strong analytical skills with proficiency in data analysis and statistical modelling techniques. Experience with data visualisation tools such as Tableau or Power BI is a plus.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and drive consensus on key decisions.
  • Strong project management skills with the ability to prioritise tasks, manage multiple projects simultaneously, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • Proven track record of driving process improvements and implementing best practices to optimise supply chain operations.
  • Passion for sustainability and renewable energy solutions, with a commitment to making a positive impact on the environment.
