Your Role and your Team:
Reporting to the Head of Supply Chain Quality Production Organization, you will implement the supplier quality framework of Lilium’s Organization. Supplier management including supplier selection, qualifications, development, audits, assessments as well fulfilment of Lilium’s Supplier Quality Requirements, in line with company requirements and certifications (e.g., Part 21 G/J, EN9100) will be the responsible working task. In addition, the collaboration and support of the incoming inspection area complete your daily business.
Your Day to Day:
- Implementation and management of Lilium regulations for the qualification, approval and development of suppliers also based on aerospace industry standards and regulations.
- Prepare, maintain and conduct supplier audits as well assessments and establish audit programs.
- You act as the APQP Leader for your Supplier Portfolio and approve FAI and PPAP.
- Create Incoming Inspection plans and carry out inspection sampling or source inspections to confirm supplier quality performance.
- Manage root cause analysis and corrective action plans for non-conformances
- Define, analyse and control supplier performance using KPI`s as part of regular quality reviews and define supplier improvement plans.
- Establish strong relationships and trust across internal Lilium organizations and Suppliers to gain credibility and influence across all levels.
- Build an ecosystem of multifunctional stakeholders capable of providing input and supporting the timely completion of your supplier audit and assessment activities.
- Maintain digital data quality within the used IT applications to contribute to real time supply chain health monitoring.
- Communicate results and business impacts of audits and assessments to Suppliers and stakeholders within Lilium.
- Identify conflicts early and drive successful resolution across people, processes, and products.
- Support and mentor your internal stakeholders and suppliers according to their development needs in topics concerning Industry Standards and Aviation Regulations.
- Supporting by implementing new SCQM processes and tools
Your Profile:
- Technical or Engineering Degree in Aerospace or non-Technical Degree with demonstrated experience in the field.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience working with Quality Management Systems, preferably with a minimum of 3 years in Aerospace, with said experience used effectively towards implementing efficient and value-add systems and processes.
- Auditor accreditation or experience (acc. to EN9100/ ISO 19011)
- Experience and knowledge on problem solving tools (e.g., 9S, 8d, Ishikawa, 5-Whys)
- APQP Training is essential
- Adequate degree of technical understanding in one or more of the following commodities composites, aerostructures, electronics, electrical, EWB, surface treatment
- Sufficient knowledge of manufacturing and inspection processes in the aerospace and/or automotive industries
- Excellent communication, negotiation and delegation skills.
- Fact-driven, resilient and personally committed to achieving success.
- Target-oriented with analytic problem-solving mindset using KPI´s
- Able to work well in teams and autonomously, take the lead, when necessary
- Strong motivation to improve and shape your organization, structures and processes
- Willingness to travel within EU as well as worldwide
- Fluent English language is essential, fluent German is beneficial
