Archer is an aerospace company based in San Jose, California building an all-electric vertical takeoff and landing aircraft with a mission to advance the benefits of sustainable air mobility. We are designing, manufacturing, and operating an all-electric aircraft that can carry four passengers for 60 miles at speeds of up to 150 mph while producing minimal noise.

This internship is a part of a 10-week summer internship program opportunity. This role will be based at Archer’s headquarters in San Jose, California and relocation or housing will not be provided. 

What You’ll Do:

Archer is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented intern to join various teams within Archer. This internship provides a hands-on opportunity to gain practical experience in various aspects of our operations which may include Finance, People Operations, Supply Chain, Legal or Airline Operations. 

• Identify opportunities for packaging and transportation cost optimization within the Archer supply base
• Develop recommended optimization  actions and implementation for Archer
• Obtain cross-functional management approvals for implementation
• Initiate action plan with Logistics and Sourcing teams for high impact items
• Collaborate with the different Supply chain teams, Manufacturing, and Engineering to promote best practices
• Present findings and results  to Archer executive leadership 

What You Need:

• Currently enrolled in a degree program in a related field (Supply Chain, Business, Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering) at an accredited university, preferably a Junior going into your Senior year
• Experience in Purchasing Logistics Planning, coupled with a sense of first principle reasoning
• Passion for solving complex supply chain challenges
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
• Excellent attention to detail and organizational abilities
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Ability to execute and adapt within an ambiguous environment
• Clear, concise and confident communicator
• Results focused

Actual compensation offered will be determined by factors such as job-related knowledge, skills, and experience.
