What We’re Looking For
As a supplier quality assurance engineer, you will manage and coordinate activities of the supplier's quality assurance to meet the Company requirements. You'll have to make the established supplier’s quality assurance standards are in place and followed, and the quality of products and services are consistent and meet both internal and external requirements.
Your role will be concerned with improving the efficiency of the quality management system, performing data and reporting on quality, and improving the set standards.
Responsibilities
- Develop, implement, and support supplier quality assurance processes
- Enforce supplier compliance with MIghty Buildings quality standards, procedures.
- Collaborate with production and construction quality on suppliers qualifications, parts dispositions, contaminants and corrective actions
- Identifies and sets appropriate quality standards and parameters for products
- Coordinate product testing processes and participate in product testing
- Inspect or verify products for conformance with Mighty Buildings requirements
- Lead suppliers and in-house teams to systematic problem solving and closure for any failure
- Establish critical-to-quality (CTQ) features in collaboration with Supplier, Engineering and Operations
- Works on the suppliers development and optimization
- Leads the suppliers’ audits
- Develop and evaluate supplier quality metrics to ensure targeted efficient allocation of resources within the team through identification of critical suppliers, products and processes.
Skills & Requirements
- Relevant experience in the field of Quality and Continuous improvement
- Experienced in the application of Quality preventive methodology
- Strong leadership skills
- Excellent verbal, interpersonal and written communication skills
- Ability to analyze big data and make recommendations based on data
- Detail-oriented, ability to effectively handle multiple priorities, flexibility to reorganize and reschedule work on short notice to meet tight deadlines, have a strong quality mindset
- Ability to develop process map
- High level of enthusiasm and a passion for quality and continuous improvements
- 30-40% ability to travel nationally and internationally as required
- ASQ certifications
- Spanish as a plus
