We are currently seeking a Supervisor with hands-on experience working on a variety of advanced materials R&D process equipment. The Role:
Support engineers/scientists in equipment sourcing, infrastructure planning, commissioning/upkeep of all R&D process equipmentCollaborate with engineers to develop SAT and FAT plans for incoming equipmentDevelop robust and efficient equipment maintenance plans, train users on equipment best practices, and utilize appropriate combination of digital and physical logs for all activitiesContinuously improve on uptime and reliability by proactively identifying upgrade opportunities and equipment deficienciesBe available on-call to repair process critical R&D and cell prototyping equipmentAuthor clear and concise documentation to communicate with team members and stakeholdersSupport future resource planning and hiring as neededQualifications:
At least 8+ years of experience working in similar working environments and industriesExperience working with mechanical, electrical, vacuum equipment, cleanrooms, dryrooms, chemical laboratory environments, lithium-ion battery process equipmentExperience working in machine shops and familiarity with safety best-practicesExperience working with inert gas equipment such as gloveboxes and associated upkeep of similar systemsExcellent communication, documentation, and organizational skillsExperience in managing, growing, and developing teams is a plusPhysical Demands:
Able to lift up to 50 lbs with the assistance of lift equipment and cartsPass a respirator fit test and be able to wear respiratory protection when requiredWear personal protective equipment including, but not limited to, lab coat, gloves, safety glasses, safety shoes
