Director of Strategic Partner Management  

What You Will Be Doing

The Strategic Partner Program Manager, will help manage external Operations/Customer Support vendors and partners, provide escalated support to internal/external customers, spearhead programs and new customer initiatives, and improve and help scale partner management.  Escalated support includes daily case/WO updating, resource allocation, and further escalations where needed.  Improvement programs include process improvement, automation, changes to contractual relations, and enabling higher scale partner management for authorized partners providing partner brand services. This position handles and is expected to protect all internal confidential information and may need to utilize discretion and judgement based on company policies and procedures.

  • Responsible for managing day to day Customer Support programs/projects specific to external ChargePoint programs and offerings.
  • Collaborates with Support management and internal company resources to respond and resolve escalated service related issues. 
    • Helps manage daily intake of escalated issues via Saleforce and Service Desk.
    • Communicates issues/resolutions in a timely manner to internal/external resources.
  • key program/project: new product roll out (NPI), large scale remdiation efforts, nationwide HW upgrades, internal optimization and efficiency efforts
    • Provide leadership to envision news models and organize execution.
    • Provide alignment for team(s) and cross functional initiatives.
    • Apply and drive change management.
    • Develop, maintain, and report progress/resolution on an as needed basis.
  • Works closely with numerous business partners including technology, learning, contact center leaders and others to report, respond and resolve issues.

Requirements

  • Excellent program/project management skills, including the ability to prioritize work and meet deadlines.
  • Strong business centric mindset with ability to utilize sound business judgment and tailor approach to drive optimal business outcomes.
  • Bachelor’s degree in a business or technology related field or equivalent combination of education and experience. 
  • 5+ years’ experience in a Support environment focused on technical support, hardware and/or software, with increasing responsibilities including supervision experience.
  • Demonstrated skills in leadership, negotiation, problem solving, conflict management, planning, and delegating.
  • Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office products, familiar with Salesforce, CRM and case management systems.
  • Excellent communication, leadership, problem solving and analytical skills.
  • Experience working in a team-oriented, collaborative environment.
  • Ability to multitask and prioritize projects to meet deadlines.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Strong interpersonal/communication skills.
