Salary Range: The compensation range for this position is specific to the locations listed below and is the range Lucid reasonably and in good faith expects to pay for the position taking into account the wide variety of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions, including job-related knowledge; skillset; experience, education and training; certifications; and other relevant business and organizational factors.
· California (Bay Area) - $108,000 – $154,000
Additional Compensation and Benefits: Lucid offers a wide range of competitive benefits, including medical, dental, vision, life insurance, disability insurance, vacation, and 401k. The successful candidate may also be eligible to participate in Lucid’s equity program and/or a discretionary annual incentive program, subject to the rules governing such programs. PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:
Lead the monthly and quarterly reporting and consolidation of forecasts and budgets for the Service Organization focusing on revenue, headcount, operating, & capital expensesConduct variance analysis on actuals to budget/forecast and identify opportunities for improvements to support financial goalsEnsure budget and forecasts are based on sound assumptions and analytics, are accurate and submitted on time, and have been appropriately vetted and reviewed by relevant business partners using effective communication materialsDeliver analytical insights and business cases to optimize, challenge, and influence Service operations to support decision making for short term & long term investmentsDemonstrate strong presentational reporting and formulated calculations which influence positive changes to Service OperationsPrepare and validate journal entries (accruals & re-classes) and analyze open commitments/purchase orders for accuracyCollaborate with business leaders to define action plans for financial and business analysis findings.Review purchase requests, purchase orders, and invoices to ensure accuracy and compliance with financial planning and reportingRecognize areas to improve the effectiveness of our financial planning and forecasting activities to streamline and improve processesQUALIFICATIONS:
5+ years of relevant and progressive work experience Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting or related fieldProven technical, quantitative, and critical- thinking skills & high level of independent judgementDemonstrated effective written, interpersonal and oral communication skillsOutstanding ability in using Microsoft Office, particularly high proficiency with Excel & PowerPointFinancial analysis experience at a Retailer, Aftermarket, or Automotive – a plusMaster’s degree in Business Administration (MBA) – preferred
