Job Description
- Perform general bookkeeping and organize financial forms, documents and receipts
- Maintain general ledger chart of accounts
- Prepare journal entries, analyses, and account reconciliations
- Assist with close processes including posting monthly, quarterly and yearly accruals
- Maintain documentation for accounts payable, purchasing, and treasury
- Create business invoices and request payment for goods sold
- Contribute to the development of annual operating budgets and basic FP&A reporting.
- Support the selection of various accounting tools/ systems
- Execute organizational financial analysis and create financial models to support decision making
- Partner with team members across departments to develop and refine SOPs for various new and evolving finance-related activities
- Support organizational learning by providing (basic) training on the use of financial tools by non-Finance staff (examples: credit card reimbursements, submitting POs, etc.)
- Respond to information requests in support of the audit
- Ensure all financial transactions within the company are accounted for and comply with GAAP

Requirements
Ideal candidates will have the following qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in accounting or finance required.
- CPA or CPA eligible a plus
- 2+ years of accounting experience.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Working knowledge of GAAP.
- Highly proficient in Excel
- Strong numeracy and analytical skills.
- Good problem-solving and time management skills.
- Proven ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously
- Highly organized and detail-oriented.
- Ability to adapt to the changing needs of the organization and employees.
- Comfort with ambiguity- excited about the opportunity to develop structure and enhance processes
Compensation
- Base salary range from $75,000 - $85,,000 based on experience.
