As a Technician, Prototype Build, you will help develop and commercialize state-of-the-art electric vehicle. Our ideal candidate exhibits a can-do attitude and approaches his or her work with vigor and determination. Candidates should have demonstrated the ability to learn quickly and work effectively in a fast-paced, rapidly changing environment and be excellent at multi-tasking. 

Responsibilities:
 
·            Build state of the art automotive prototype vehicle, systems, and subsystems
·            An embedded part of Alpha and Beta vehicle builds
·            Work closely with Design engineers and identify potential assembly and service issues
·            Work efficiently within a multidisciplinary cooperative environment
·            Work with engineering groups for testing and development
·            Work with engineering groups to provide failure analysis and design concerns.  
·            Work with engineering groups to provide feedback for more efficient serviceability  
·            Diagnose, maintain, and repair engineering fleet
·            Collaborate with test engineers in vehicle test execution, part retrofits and driving
 
Qualifications:
 
·            Degree in Automotive Technology or ASE Certification
·            Proof of excellence in your past position, while demonstrating profound creativity in resolving mechanical problems
·            5 years Luxury Automobile Technician experience
·            You bring your own professional automotive toolbox
·            Ability to travel Domestically  and internationally up to 20%
·            3+ years of EV experience
·            Strong organization skills with meticulous attention to detail
·            Flexibility to work long hours and weekends when required
 
Preferable:
 
·         Professional Race team experience
·         Fabrication skills

Salary Range: The compensation range for this position is specific to the locations listed below and is the range Lucid reasonably and in good faith expects to pay for the position taking into account the wide variety of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions, including job-related knowledge; skillset; experience, education and training; certifications; and other relevant business and organizational factors.
 
 California (Bay Area) - $34.62 - 47.60 / Hour

Additional Compensation and Benefits: Lucid offers a wide range of competitive benefits, including medical, dental, vision, life insurance, disability insurance, vacation, and 401k. The successful candidate may also be eligible to participate in Lucid’s equity program and/or a discretionary annual incentive program, subject to the rules governing such programs.  (Cash or equity incentive awards, if any, will depend on various factors, including, without limitation, individual and company performance.)
