We are currently seeking a Sr. Systems Integration Engineer for the Efficiency & Performance team. This position requires a talented engineer with passion and experience to interface between the Efficiency & Performance team and other functional groups within Lucid.
The role relates to both hardware and software, components and systems, and includes following projects through from inception to completion. Our ideal candidate exhibits a can-do attitude and approaches their work with vigor and determination. Candidates will be expected to demonstrate excellence in their respective fields, to possess the ability to learn quickly and to strive for perfection within a fast-paced environment.

You will:
Be responsible for implementation of hardware and software changes that improve vehicle performance and efficiency.Collaborate with various team to identify opportunities for improvement.Triage integration issues, report issues to relevant teams, and validate fixes to ensure resolution.Create roadmaps for projects with milestones and deliverables.Explore simulation, HIL, SIL and vehicle test approaches to optimize (sub-)system test and validation strategies in terms of efficiency and performance.Contribute to test plans, data analysis and feature validation testsCouple the effects of different systems in a BEV including motor, gearbox, inverter, battery, chassis, cooling HVAC system, and charger.Work efficiently within a multidisciplinary cooperative and innovative environment, including directly cooperating with powertrain teams, physical test and software teamsYou Bring:
A proven track record of technical excellence in hardware or software. A strong desire to create state-of-the-art engineering products as an integral part of a very capable team.A flair for creative engineering and problem solving.A capability to define appropriate targets, using a range of strategies.At least 3 years of system engineering or system integration experience in the automotive industry.Experience of resolving issues through appropriate analysis and design modificationsExperience in debugging and resolving hardware or software issues.Excellent communication skills in both technical and non-technical environments.A strong desire to create the very best product, working as an integral part of a very capable team.Advantageous:
Understanding of the physics and systems of electric vehicles.Project managing experience.Additional fields of experience (thermal, electromagnetics, structural statics/dynamics, material science).Working knowledge of vehicle communication network systems (CAN, LIN, Ethernet, etc.)Experience of optimization methods and software.Experience with MATLAB and Python.Experience with HIL and SIL testing.Some knowledge of scripting for simulation process automation.Education:
BS (and preferably MS or PhD) in an engineering discipline.
