The Global Stamping Die Engineer is responsible for designing, developing, and optimizing stamping dies and related processes to ensure efficient, cost-effective, and high-quality production. This role collaborates closely with cross-functional teams to support new product development, troubleshoot existing processes, and drive continuous improvement in tooling performance.

You will

  • Create precise 3D models and detailed drawings for stamping dies using CAD software.
  • Develop schedules for tooling and implement improvements to enhance performance, longevity, and reliability.
  • Analyze and improve manufacturing methods, workflows, and equipment layouts for maximum efficiency and cost-effectiveness.
  • Evaluate product designs for technical and economic feasibility within stamping processes, providing guidance to product design teams.
  • Diagnose and resolve issues with existing dies and stamping processes to minimize downtime and improve efficiency.
  • Inspect and test tools, implement corrective actions, and collaborate with Quality Engineers to ensure compliance with quality standards.
  • Work closely with product designers, manufacturing engineers, and production staff to ensure designs are feasible and production runs smoothly.
  • Support new product development by providing die design, process development, and documentation for successful mass production.

You Bring

  • Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
  • Proficiency in CAD software and stamping process design.
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • Experience in tooling, manufacturing processes, and quality standards.
  • Attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.
