We are currently seeking a Sr. Revenue Accountant. An ideal candidate in this role will be someone with automotive industry background, or other form of manufacturing experience.

Responsibilities:

  • Focus on Revenue Accounting month-end close activities, including preparation of journal entries, ledger and data reconciliations, and related reporting and disclosures.
  • Ensure compliance and proper revenue recognition in accordance within ASC606 and any related guidance.
  • Partner with Finance, Sales and Operations to ensure all revenue activities are identified and assessed for revenue recognition.
  • Understand the Order to Cash business processes and partner with relevant teams to help automate, streamline and integrate accounting processes and perform data analysis and reporting.
  • Assist with timely preparation and submission of PBC’s for internal and external audit requests.
  • Establish and maintain SOX control documentation and ensure compliance
  • Participate in various other ad hoc accounting projects and requests, as needed.
  • Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance.
  • CPA (or equivalent) with Big 4 Public Accounting experience, 3 years minimum. 
  • 1 to 3 years post Public Accounting experience in a Public Company within the automotive industry or other form of manufacturing. 
  • Working knowledge and experience with ASC 606 and related guidance.
  • SOX experience.
  • Analytical skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Personal computer skills, including Microsoft Office
  • SAP and Salesforce working knowledge and experience preferred
  • Ability to develop strong partnerships and influence people effectively 
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, prioritize appropriately and handle multiple tasks simultaneously
