Responsibilities:
Ensure compliance and proper revenue recognition in accordance within ASC606 and any related guidanceFocus on Revenue Accounting including the month-end close process, reconciliations, and related reporting and disclosuresParticipate in all aspects of the revenue close, including creating journal entries reconciliations etc.Responsible for reconciliation & review of transactions processed through Stripe payment processorPerform contract analysis review and prepare related revenue schedules to verify contracts have been accurately recordedIdentify and implement processes and improvements in planning, analysis, reporting and monitoring of both financial and non-financial measures. Leverage information technology to automate, streamline and integrate processes.Work with multiple systems for use in information retrieval and analyses.Partner with Finance, Sales and Operations to ensure all revenue activities are identified and assessed for revenue recognition.Assist with various aspects of external audits and reviewing PBC items lists.Participate in various ad hoc accounting projects and requests, as neededQualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance and/or the equivalent in experience5 years of relevant experience in the automotive industry or other form of manufacturing ASC 606 working knowledge and experienceAnalytical skillsAbility to work independently and as part of a teamStrong communication skills, both written and verbalPersonal computer skills, including Microsoft OfficeSAP working knowledge and experience preferredAbility to develop strong partnerships and influence people effectively Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, prioritize appropriately and handle multiple tasks simultaneously
